Bovey Castle

Leading luxury operator, the Eden Hotel Collection has embarked on a £2 million refurbishment of Bovey Castle, after acquiring the award-winning country house estate in Dartmoor National Park.

The investment is the first phase of the Eden Hotel Collection’s renovation programme to restore Bovey Castle to its former glory. The estate includes a 64-bedroom hotel, 18-hole championship golf course, spa, country lodges and an outdoor pursuits centre.

The privately-owned Eden Hotel Collection, which is the AA’s Small Hotel Group of the Year 2014-15, is spending an initial £700,000 on restoration work to the hotel while a further phase one of investment totalling £1.3 million is being ploughed into transforming the restaurant, brasserie and public rooms on the ground floor.
